Pied Cormorant - we call them shags here in New Zealand. This was at sunrise, freezing cold, and very foggy. The Shag was warming his wings in the sun. This was as close as I could get before it flew off a bit later.

Took this on one of my garden forays around Marlborough.  Beautiful white clematis.  I just love these flowers, they are always so beautiful no matter what the colour.  I'm always disappointed though that they only flower for such a short time in early spring.

White Agapanthus.  Taken at Ryland Estate yesterday which is 15 acres of beautiful garden, cherry and apricot . Late afternoon and filtered sunlight under a tree.  We also bought 2kg of Cherries for christmas here!
